How to shed weight and feel great

The bride and groom are taking on many responsibilities once the wedding planning is under way.  To-do lists and pre wedding activities can keep you so busy you forget to take care of YOU!  You don’t want to feel drained on your wedding day or reflect on your pictures wishing you would have looked better.  It is important to take care of your mind and body with consistent diet and exercise.
Exercising can be fun and it’s a great way for couples to bond and create a healthy life style.  Here are a few training programs that will leave you feeling spectacular for your big day!

Strength training

If you want to gain muscle you require less cardio, three 20-minute sessions a week, and should focus on strength training exercises such as the kettlebell, squats, push-ups, lunges, plank and jumping jacks. Eat lean meats and proteins such as nuts, Greek yogurt, chicken breast, fruits, and raw vegetables.  Lift weights to further tone your body and develop muscle definition throughout your body.  Be consistent!

mind training

Decrease your stress from all the wedding planning by taking up yoga or pilates.  Learn to decompress and focus as well as stretch and build your muscle strength.  Strong muscles protect us from conditions like arthritis and back pain.  You are also gaining flexibility.

weight loss training

If you need to lose a drastic amount of weight start several months before the wedding.  Cardio induced exercise such as walking, running, swimming, hiking, cycling, and jumping rope are great ways to burn fat and tone up.  Join a gym and participate in group classes such as Zumba, yoga, step, HIIT, and many more.  This can be motivating and fun!
