Hey, y’all! My name is Heather Jones, and I am currently finishing up my last semester at Texas Tech University. This is such a bittersweet time for me, as I am trying to soak in my final days as an undergraduate student while getting ready to begin law school in the fall. Melody Dawes
Melody owns MKD Publishing which produces Lubbock’s Home & Family Magazine, Weddings by Wendy Rose, and a variety of other works for local authors. She has been in the publishing arena for over almost 30 years and loves every aspect of it. Melody is the proud mother of three grown children, and the grandmother of 12 wonderful grandkids. She grew up in Lubbock and loves the strong and independent spirit that our city is known for.
