Melody Dawes

Melody owns MKD Publishing which produces Lubbock’s Home & Family Magazine, Weddings by Wendy Rose, and a variety of other works for local authors.  She has been in the publishing arena for over almost 30 years and loves every aspect of it.  Melody is the proud mother of three grown children, and the grandmother of 12 wonderful grandkids.  She grew up in Lubbock and loves the strong and independent spirit that our city is known for.

Miranda Stabler

Hi there! I am Miranda Stabler. I am a Lubbock-local photographer/videographer/web designer.  I enjoy working and collaborating with small business owners, which is how I met the lovely Melody!  I love capturing and creating timeless photos to be kept for, hopefully, generations to come. I’m a crazy dog mom to my three pups who are spoiled beyond belief.  I run on iced coffee and pasta, mmm!

Allison Rodriguez

Hi everyone!  My name is Allison Rodriguez and I am a Public Relations major from Montgomery, TX.  I’m currently a junior at Texas Tech University and I will graduate May of 2022.  Some of my favorite things to do are spend time with my family, and play golf.  A fun fact about me is that I am a yorkie mom!  My favorite article that I have worked on is Picture Perfect in the most recent edition of Weddings by Wendy Rose.  I am so excited to continue writing for many more editions!

Madison Rodriguez

Hi, I’m Madison Rodriguez, a freshman psychology major from Texas Tech University. My hobbies include acting, volunteering and scrapbooking. After graduation, I want to work with children as a play therapist. I hope you find my articles informative and fun.
