If your wedding day is coming up soon, maybe the idea of getting a tan before has crossed your mind.  However, there are do’s and don’ts to getting a tan, especially one for your wedding day.  Let’s walk through the process to get you looking like the tan goddess you desire for your special day.

First, it’s really smart to have a trial run of what you want your tan to look like.  The last thing you want is to try out a tan the night before your wedding then end up waking up orange in the morning.  On the same note, if you are pleased with the trial run, tan 2-3 days before your wedding day.  This will allow the tan to settle down in intensity to enjoy more of the natural glow you desire.

Next, tan like a pro. How do you do this? It’s the process used to EXFOLIATE!  Nothing can hinder the look of a beautiful tan than not exfoliating.  Exfoliating allows the tan to appear more natural rather than dry and flaky. That’s NOT the look you want!

Another thing to take into consideration when tanning is using a mitt rather than your bare hands if you do a tan with a product at home.  Applying a tan with your hands will give an unnatural look to your hands and that will defeat the purpose of the look you are creating.

Hopefully, these few tips will help you look like a tan goddess!
