Having Fun at Your Wedding
How many times have you heard the comment that some bride you know did not even get to eat one bite of their food at their wedding or it all passed so quickly, their wedding was over before they knew it?
This is a common problem for brides and grooms alike on their wedding day with the many traditions, planning, primping, and extra tasks! Some ways to help with the stress of running from one task to another is over-planning in time can help save you from running behind as well as allowing that extra time to truly enjoy the day that you have been planning for months and even years! When mapping out your big day, take the time and go through the list of things to do and try to add more time on top of the minimum time in order to add in that buffer, so you and your spouse-to-be can truly enjoy the day without treating the fun wedding traditions as chores.

During the whirlwind that can be your reception, think about adding in some fun games that you and your spouse-to-be will both enjoy doing but your attendees will enjoy as well!
Games Ideas:
– The Shoe Game: Have you and your spouse-to-be sit back to back holding one shoe from each of you in both of your hands. Have one of your bridesmaids or groomsmen ask the both of you different questions about you two as a couple and whoever the question applies to more, raise that shoe for the attendants to see even. Make sure you both cannot see the other’s answers. Remember to have someone record the game so that you and your spouse can watch later and see what the other answered!
– Guess Who: When introducing the bridal party into the reception, consider adding in some fun facts about the individual bridal party members before they are introduced. This adds a fun guess-who game before the individual makes their entrance to allow your friends and family who might not know everyone in the bridal party to get more acquainted with them.
